About The Event
The Girls’ Brigade Nigeria, Lagos State Council, Surulere District 5, invites girls and officers to the Girls’ Brigade Refresher Course 2026.
This three-day programme is designed to refresh participants’ knowledge, strengthen leadership skills and encourage a deeper commitment to Christian service. It will also provide an opportunity for participants from different companies to learn together, build meaningful relationships and share valuable experiences.

The Power of Service
“Whoever serves me must follow me; and where I am, my servant also will be.” — John 12:26
The theme highlights the importance of serving God and others with commitment, humility and dedication. Participants will be encouraged to understand service as an important part of Christian leadership and their responsibilities within the Girls’ Brigade.
Programme features
The Refresher Course will feature a range of educational, leadership and social activities, including:
Career talks Leadership training Artificial intelligence learning Social night Interactive learning sessions Fellowship and networking Other developmental activities
The career sessions will expose participants to useful information about education and future career opportunities, while the leadership training will strengthen their confidence, discipline, teamwork and ability to serve effectively.
The artificial intelligence learning session will introduce participants to the growing role of AI and how it can be used responsibly for learning, creativity and problem-solving.
The social night will provide a relaxed opportunity for participants to interact, build friendships and enjoy fellowship together.
